What are we going to wear?

1. I hope that you will wear a dress to the wedding.
2. I hope that you will find a dress in the color hue that I am choosing to make for a romantic and feminine aesthetic.
3. Find any style or fit that suits you. Please find a dress that hangs or can be hemmed just above the knees.
4. Please look for a gold shoe color to wear, but wear any style you like, heels, wedges, flats, or sandals. Matt, glossy, anything gold.  We will be on cement, grass and gravel.

Here are color examples for dresses I'd like you to wear to the wedding:

Unbelievable coincidence!  Tim's mom, Rebecca, and her sisters shown below.  Although our dress color is slightly lighter, it's an uncanny similarity! My heart was so warm to discover this!

  1. Hello, everyone! Such an exciting time, and I am looking forward to meeting you.

I found what could be a great resource for us. Laura: I am not sure how specific you want to be about the color of the dresses (and maybe you want to have various shades of blush pink and not just one), but Watters could make that quite easy. You could pick the color (or colors) and then we could pick the style. Even if you didn't want to do this, this site could be a good place for the rest of us to find a dress.

  2. Hi Amanda! Thank you! I may take a drive and look at dresses at Watters for myself.
Nordstrom's has been a resource for me and they even have a Blush bridesmaids dress page. I respond to 2 colors on that site: Blush or Chantilly. Either are great!

Maybe a good idea is to post photos of the dress you're considering of other bridesmaids to view? Just a thought.
One thing to consider, it will most likely look better if everyone wears a different dress versus 2-3 ladies wearing the same dress since there are 7 of you all. To stay within everyones budget please purchase a dress you can afford and feel good about.

  3. Also, I'm open to variety in color. I'm just trying to give a small range. I'm sorry if this makes things harder for shopping for the dress. I just found out my sister Karen purchased a dress from Macy's but is waiting for it to arrive before she decides if it's a keeper. I asked her to post a photo if she likes it.
